Picton, Ontario - Canada

Today we will cross Lake Ontario into Canada!  I'll post periodically when we hit WiFi hot-spots! Planning to go through the Trent-Severn Canal into the Georgian Bay. From there, into Lake Huron and Lake Michigan!......

Update:

Today we traveled 58.3 NM across Lake Ontario into Canada.  The depths under us were deeper than 550’ and we did lose the site of land.  We are docked at Tip of the Bay Marina in Picton, Ontario - Canada.

Beautiful blue water

Not much to look at during the crossing so Garmin took the helm, wearing his life vest.

We raised our Quarantine Flag once we entered Canadian water.

Only Charlie was allowed off the boat while he telephoned Customs to check us in. Garmin and I,   along with our vessel, were 'quarantined'.

Once custom's cleared us we removed our quarantine flag and raised the Canadian flag.

Free at last! Garmin romped on Canadian turf!

This Canadian lad didn't know what kind of fish he just caught. We identified it for him, a catfish.  Charlie had to teach him how to remove it from the hook.
