Mackinaw City, Michigan - Day 3

What started out as a plan of good weather to head out turned into a "stay in port" day. Charlie checked the weather forecast at 4:30 a.m. to find small craft advisories were in effect. G-Man and I caught up on reality t.v. and chores while Charlie ran errands, ate lunch out, at Wienerlicious, and toured the Coast Guard Cutter 83.

Who knew?!

The Wienerlicious sculpture is built of fiberglass with a steel frame which consists of a wiener with fixin's in a bun and sits on top of the eatery.  It is 60 ft. long and weighs seven tons.  It was erected in 2014.
