Charlevoix, Michigan - Day 2 (Including Traverse City, Michigan)

We rented a car and traveled to the Mission Peninsula to tour a few local winery's.  We enjoyed visiting Traverse City and found some very interesting things to see, as in, the World's Largest Cherry Pie, and the 45th Parallel line on Plant Earth! We actually stood on the line that is half way between the Equator and the North Pole!

Rose bushes are planted on the end of each row of grapevines as an earlier warning detection of disease.  If the rose bush looks ill they take a closer look at the grapevines.
