It's been an extremely frustrating and exhausting process to purchase a new dinghy and have it delivered. Over six weeks of ridiculous chaos. It's held us back exponentially to progress on our loop route, but it's now done! Tomorrow we head north. Everything happens for a reason and we know the reason was to meet these great people! We've been so fortunate to stay at such a great marina, meeting fantastic new friends, and having great views! However, Maryland is hot and we are needing to head toward the Great Lakes for milder temperatures. I do not have enough words of gratitude to give Trang, Brian, Chewie, and Sammie along with Paul and Lisa, adding Michael and Ann. You've not only given us great friendships and fantastic memories, but also assisted us with dinghy rides, loaning of automobiles, car pooling, offers of car pooling, doctor recommendations, maps of local establishments, fantastic meals, recipe sharing, and exponential laughs! We also got to say hello to Denise Magnus! Thank you all for making our adventure so memorable and rich! We will be back here next year!
I 'hooked up' Paul with a new Masterbuilt Electric Smoker!! He and Lisa will be forever changed! Smoke on our friends, smoke on!!
