Catskill, New York

Today we traveled 63.8 NM
Total traveled to date = 1,224.6 NM

We continued north on the Hudson River.  Calm waters, cool temperatures, and minimal traffic made it a perfect cruise. We actually had to put on sweatshirts and socks today! This stretch of waterway had the most beautiful lighthouses we've seen thus far. Add great views of  West Point Military Academy and the Catskill Mountains, stunning! We are docked at Riverview Marina, Catskill, NY to ride out a weather system moving in.

Esopus Meadows Lighthouse, 1871

Rondout Creek Lighthouse

Railroad Tunnel

Catskill Creek, we are docked "up the creek" and on right.

This town is NOT dog friendly, perhaps due to it's name, "CATSkill" or, the fact that these prints on Main Street prove just how large the dogs were that 'upset them'?!

Our "GPS System" is working, finally!

We are "here".

Catskill Point

The only "dog friendly" area in town, Catskill Point.  Note, our port, Riverview Marina, is all good with the canine's. Thank you, Charlie, for giving Lil 'Dub some exercise time before the rain hits.
