We enjoyed walking along the white sugar sand beach and touring the shops along Mandalay Avenue. It was so nice of our AGLCA Harbor Host, Herb, from Tarpon Springs to drive over and meet us! Thank you for the lovely welcome treats and local recommendations! How did you know my favorite holiday treats are German Streusel and Lebkuchen?! Our new friend, Roger, stopped by to visit. We have a connection with him from the boat we almost purchased prior to buying this vessel. It was so nice to meet him after corresponding via cell phone several times. We truly appreciated his company and the thoughtful bottle of rum he gifted Charlie. We look forward to seeing him again. My favorite part of the day was.......
I was able to pet the dock PELICAN!!
This guy hangs out at the dock fish cleaning station. He is very happy to be petted and gets rewarded with fish scraps from the local fisherman! Evidently, he's the dock mascot!
