Sandestin, Florida - Days 5 - 7

We have been relaxing and enjoying the resort. Dolphins feeding 20' from our boat each morning and afternoon...with Pelicans perched on posts!  We've had a few days of high winds and a day of storms. We actually had the tornado sirens go off as a tornado came into Destin Bay. Fortunately, it was approximately 3 miles from us. We made another Facebook Live Aboard connection, Jim, came by to say hello! He is also a Gold Looper! It was so nice of him to brave the storm and stop by and surprise us to meet in person! We enjoyed his visit and appreciate the knowledge he shared from his Loop experiences. We hope to see him again on the waterways! As much I do not want to leave this place, we will move on to Panama City, Florida tomorrow, weather permitting. It's time to get closer for the staging for a weather window to cross over the Gulf to the west coast of Florida. Although, the crossing still looks a week away....
