We attempted an early morning departure but were delayed again by fog. Once the fog lifted the day was spectacular, not a cloud in the sky all day! We traveled down the Tenn-Tom Waterway (Tennessee River - Tombigbee Waterway) 49.7 NM and locked through 3 locks. One of the locks was the lowest (or highest, depending on your direction of travel), locking us down 84'. It was also a very rapid and smooth lock down. We were allowed to share the three locks with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers tow named
