Fairhope, Alabama (Mobile, Alabama)
Tuesday, October 20, 2015
An early morning start with fog turned into another perfect day to cruise to Mobile Bay! We traveled 121 NM today and locked down 34' through one lock. It was our 103rd lock and will be the last lock for months!!! We cruised over the I-10 Tunnel. We have flown our airplane over the tunnel, driven our car and R.V. through the tunnel, and now sailed our boat over the tunnel! We are docked at Eastern Shore Marina, Fairhope, Alabama.

Beautiful falls at the lock.

Hello Mobile!
Thank you for dredging.
Mobile Bay is huge!
We were escorted into the bay by several dolphins and a flock of Pelican's in formation that cruised aside us at port for over 3 miles!
Thank you, Charlie, for the lovely celebratory bottle of bubbly for completing our 103rd lock! No more locks for months!!
Chilly in the mornings but warms up to perfect upper 70's.
Our boat cruises nicely at this speed.
We are in the bay right "here".
Cheers!!

Monday, October 19, 2015
After a diagnosis of 'no damage' from "the log", we traveled 83.8 NM with light fog turning into clear skies, to Bobby's Fish Camp, Coffeeville, Alabama. Another priceless weather day!
